Faenora is a tactics RPG universe developed by 2TG Entertainment. The single-player pillar is The Wildlands of Faenora on PC, a turn-based roguelite where you assemble a squad and extend the depth of your runs through the perilous wilderness. Hunters of Faenora is the competitive branch that incorporates leaderboards and high-stakes hunts. What is the Alpha Hunt Tournament

Alpha Hunt is a game mode in Hunters of Faenora that operates on tournament rules. The player may have a maximum of six Mercenaries or Villagers in their team, travel through the Wildlands in ten-path segments, and encounter a Netherbeast boss at each milestone. Defeating a Netherbeast grants Nethertalons. Your overall Nethertalons determine leaderboard ranking. In the event of a unit loss, a death countdown is initiated. You are allowed to either use the in-game token $MCHY to revive or roll a fresh recruit and accept the setback.

Game mechanics

• Squad size. A team of up to six Mercenaries or Villagers can be led on a hunt. The team composition and positioning have an effect on the outcome of turn-based, grid-based battles. 
• Pacing. The map moves in ten-path segments. At the end of each segment, you encounter a Netherbeast boss. The beast supplies Nethertalons, and you use them to advance your rank. 
• Risk management. When a unit dies, the game immediately starts a death timer. You can use the in-game token $MCHY to heal or revive the unit, use items or springs, or reroll a new unit if you accept the loss. Waiting for too long can make revival very expensive.

• Top 8 Players – Receive Golden Tickets that grant a direct claim to any eligible hero in the FaenoraVerse.
• Top 9–50 Players – Receive 20,000 $MCHY each to recruit mercenaries, seed their economy line, and expand options for future hunts.
• Players 51–250 – Receive a Welcome Chest plus 20 Nethershards, along with the option to claim 1 WL spot.
