Sunflower Land announced it will launch $FLOWER on Ronin on October 21. Previously, $FLOWER existed only on Base. With the Ronin launch, the team moves toward a multi-chain future, with more chains planned soon.
What Is Sunflower Land?
Sunflower Land is a Web3 farming game that allows players to grow crops, craft tools, and build virtual farms. The game launched on Polygon in 2022 by an indie studio named Thought Farm.
It quickly became one of the most active on-chain farming games due to its open-source model and active community. Players earn, trade, and craft NFTs while expanding their land and contributing to the in-game economy.
History of $FLOWER
Sunflower Land initially launched with the token $SFL to power its economy. On April 1, they migrated from $SFL to $FLOWER. Now, $FLOWER serves as the core currency in the Sunflower Land marketplace.
They made the switch for stability, scalability, and cross-chain capacity. $SFL had inflation and single-chain constraints. $FLOWER brings a fixed supply, broader utility, and multi-chain flexibility.

$FLOWER on Ronin
On September 16, Sunflower Land announced a giveaway to celebrate the Ronin launch. The campaign drew over 200,000 responses from players eager for rewards and access.
In stepping onto Ronin, Sunflower Land does not abandon prior chains. They continue to support Polygon and Base, now adding Ronin as an option.
What’s Next for Sunflower Land?
Adam (aka @bumpkinbuilder) teased upcoming updates for Sunflower Land:
- Ronin ERC20 Launch
- Pet NFT
- Rarecrows Telegram Minigame + SFT
- Base × Farcaster Campaigns
- Secret Project II
The team is additionally looking forward to extending co-op farming, introducing fresh questlines, and releasing more community campaigns. Sunflower Land is looking to make the players’ in-game transactions easier. That way, the game will be more user-friendly and $FLOWER’s use will be extended to different blockchains.
