Solana Support

Ronin Wallet got a significant update that adds Solana support. It means that people can now bring in SOL and hold Solana tokens in the Ronin Wallet. The rollout covers all platforms – mobile, browser extension, and web.

What Solana Support Means for Users

Solana support has enabled Ronin Wallet to hold assets not only from Ronin but also from Solana. It’s easy for users now, they can check the balances and operate Solana tokens the same way as their Ronin assets right from one place.

The update also enables cross-chain swaps between Ronin and Solana. This feature helps users move assets between ecosystems with fewer steps and less friction.

A Refreshed Wallet Interface

Ronin Wallet now features a refreshed interface across mobile and browser versions. The redesign focuses on clarity and faster access to common wallet actions.

The home screen highlights four primary actions:

  • Fund
  • Swap
  • Send
  • Receive

This layout makes everyday wallet tasks easier to find. It also improves usability for new and returning users.

Easier‍‌‍‍‌ Account and View Management

There have been a number of usability improvements to the browser extension. In the account drop-down menu, EVM and Solana addresses are now separated more clearly. Users will find managing multi-chain accounts less confusing. The transition between side-panel and pop-up view modes has also been made easier.

Expanded Fiat On-Ramp Options

Ronin Wallet has significantly increased its fiat on-ramp coverage through a new integration with Onramper. The update expands the number of supported payment methods and the regions where services are available.

Onramper summons multiple providers and offers a variety of purchase routes. Different providers and regions come with different fees and verification requirements.

Additional Wallet Improvements

This release features several minor changes. The alterations place emphasis on a neater design and easier access to settings.

Single-chain mode can now be found in Developer Settings on both mobile and browser versions. To cut down on visual distraction, the browser extension has also discontinued the use of smaller emoji buttons.

Conclusion

The recent Ronin Wallet update adds Solana support and a suite of usability enhancements. The latter includes interface improvements, extended fiat on-ramps, and enhanced account management.

All of these features combined lead to a better user experience when managing assets across networks. Ronin Wallet is still evolving the product with a simple and flexible user experience in ‍‌‍‍‌mind.
