Yakkamon

Yakkamon is an upcoming creature-collecting Web3 game. It combines monster hunting, idle farming, resource gathering, crafting, and player battles.

Players can explore the world, catch wild creatures, and build a team with different abilities. Yakkamon monsters are also useful outside battles. Players can assign them to farms and production areas. This allows them to gather resources while the player is away.

Who Is Developing Yakkamon?

Yakkamon is being developed by Thought Farm, the Sydney-based game studio behind Sunflower Land. The team has spent years developing and operating live Web3 games.

This gives Yakkamon something many new Web3 games do not have. It has an experienced team, an existing community, and a working economy. Thought Farm is not starting from zero. It is using lessons from Sunflower Land to create a larger adventure.

What Is Sunflower Land?

Sunflower Land is a free-to-play Web3 farming game. Players grow crops, raise animals, fish, gather resources, and complete deliveries. They can also craft collectible NFTs and improve their farms.

Players can begin using an email address. Connecting a wallet is optional for those who want to withdraw assets or trade NFTs. The game mainly runs on Polygon. It has built a large community through regular chapters, competitions, and new mechanics.

How Are Sunflower Land and Yakkamon Connected?

Sunflower Land and Yakkamon are separate games. However, they are both part of the Thought Farm ecosystem. Sunflower Land focuses on building and managing a farm. Yakkamon expands this formula through monsters, exploration, crafting, and battles.

The biggest connection is $FLOWER. Thought Farm is not introducing another token. Instead, the game will use the same currency found in Sunflower Land. Yakkamon will run on Ronin, while Sunflower Land mainly operates on Polygon. $FLOWER will connect both experiences across these networks.

Yakkamon Pre-Registration and Trainer Points

Season 0 pre-registration is currently open and free to join. Players only need an email address. A wallet or Sunflower Land account is not required. At the time of writing, thousands of trainers have already registered.

Registered trainers can collect points before early access begins. They can earn points by nurturing their Monster Egg and completing account quests. Connecting a wallet, sharing posts, and referring friends can also provide points. These points affect leaderboard rankings, early access, and reward eligibility.

NFT Airdrop and the Q4 2026 Launch

Yakkamon plans to reward the top 5,000 players on the Trainer Points leaderboard with Monster NFTs. The top 1,000 trainers will receive Legendary Monster NFTs. Higher-ranking players will also enter the game earlier during the early-access launch.

Early $FLOWER deposits are scheduled to open on August 10, 2026. Depositing $FLOWER will provide additional Trainer Points. Larger deposits will also unlock point bonuses. Yakkamon early access is planned for Q4 2026.

Can Yakkamon Grow Beyond Sunflower Land?

Yakkamon has a strong starting position. It combines a familiar monster-collecting concept with systems Thought Farm already understands. Players can catch creatures, automate production, craft equipment, and compete in an arena.

The shared use of $FLOWER makes Yakkamon more than a simple Sunflower Land spin-off. It could become an important part of a connected gaming ecosystem. One currency may support several games and different player experiences. With early access approaching, trainers already have reasons to begin collecting points.
